If you really knew me...

I saw this on my friend Jamie's blog With Love Jamie, and I wanted to do an "If you really knew me" post, too.

If you really knew me, you would know...

...that I love crafting to "bad" television shows.  LA Ink, Dawson's Creek, My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.  These are just a few of the shows I've been caught  watching.  I wouldn't normally watch them, but they are so easy to look away from when I need to, and then so easy to get back into when I'm back in a knitting groove.  I couldn't possibly knit during Breaking Bad or Mad Men; they need my full attention!

...that going places alone makes me anxious.  Why? I have no idea.

...that when I first meet certain people I'm very shy, and with others I'm an open book.  Even when I was younger, if you asked one person what I was like they would say, "Quiet and shy." and one of my friends would say, "Hyper and loud."

...that I'm currently in the process of being diagnosed with a pain condition.  So many doctors, random painful days, experiments with my diet and supplements, daily exercise being cut out for months at a time, more doctors, and missing foods I once ate daily.  It's hard, but hopefully I'm on the path to diagnosis and being able to go more than just a few months without pain.

...that I'm thinking of starting a separate blog about my pain condition to help others after I am diagnosed.

...that I love being busy.  My ideal day off involves a checklist where everything gets marked off and finished. I love checklists, and I love productiveness. Sitting around or as some people call it "relaxing" makes me very anxious, and my brain runs a mile a minute.

...that I love songs with clapping in them.

...that I am terrified of birds, praying manti, squirrels, and bees.  I've been attacked by all of these on multiple occasions.  The squirrel attacks are up to 4 times now.

...that I'm not embarrassed by normal embarrassing situations, but I'm very embarrassed during ridiculous situations.  Example: I'm not embarrassed about slipping and falling down, but I do get embarrassed when my pen drops on the floor at work. I just think what other people find embarrassing, to me, is hilarious.

If you fill one out, link me so I can read yours :)

Thanks Maggy! I'm definitely a lot closer than I was 2 years ago. It used to be a lot worse than it is now; I've done a lot of research and will be seeing a new doctor actually next week!
